Mobile layout review and cleanup.

Homepage message and CTA improvements.

Service, pricing, hours, and location clarity.

Image replacement or compression where needed.

Search-ready launch hygiene and internal-link cleanup.

Questions

Clear answers before scope approval.

Do you have to rebuild the whole site?

Not always. If the existing foundation is workable, a refresh can focus on messaging, layout, mobile usability, images, and search basics. If the existing site is difficult to maintain, a rebuild may be cleaner.

Can you keep the same domain?

Yes. The domain stays in your name. Dave can help with DNS or Cloudflare setup as part of the handoff process.

How long does a refresh take?

Most refreshes land within 1–3 weeks depending on scope. The bigger question is whether the existing code is easy to work with — Dave reviews that on the first call and is honest if a rebuild would actually be cheaper.

Will my Google rankings change?

Cleaner content, faster pages, and a proper search setup give a site a fairer chance with Google and AI search tools, but no one can guarantee rankings. Dave does not promise position changes or lead volumes.

Can you replace my old contact form?

Yes. Most refreshes include a working, mobile-friendly contact form that goes to your inbox. If you use a CRM or booking tool, Dave can wire the form to it.

Do I need to write new copy?

Not from scratch. Dave can rework what's there, organize your bullet points, and flag the gaps. Long-form research-heavy rewrites are quoted separately.

How is this different from a Launch Site?

A Launch Site is a new build on the DaveTheWeb.guru framework. A refresh updates your existing site (whatever platform it's on) without migrating it. If the existing platform is fighting you, we may decide a Launch Site is the better path on the call.

What happens when you reach out

  • · Dave reads the form personally and replies to set up a short call by phone or video.
  • · The call is about 15 minutes. Dave reviews your Facebook page, Google Business Profile, or current site beforehand so you don't have to walk him through the basics.
  • · Rough notes are fine — you don't need to prepare anything technical or write polished copy.
  • · No obligation, no same-call payment, no upsell. You'll leave knowing whether a simple site is enough, what it would cost, and whether doing nothing for now is the right call.

Messages go to hello@davetheweb.guru. No payment details, passwords, or private account credentials should be sent through this form. If you do not have a domain yet, that is fine; we can choose one together.
