Questions

Clear answers before scope approval.

What is included in a Launch Site?

The Launch Site is a polished one-page website with the sections a local business usually needs first: hero, services, about/credibility, FAQ, contact form, mobile layout, a search-ready launch setup, hosting setup, and plain-English handoff notes.

Do I have to write the copy?

No. Send rough notes, your Facebook page, GBP, or current site. Dave organizes and edits the first draft for the included sections. Research-heavy or long-form copy is quoted separately.

Can this expand later?

Yes. The site can be expanded with additional service pages, location pages, project galleries, support blocks, or the editable admin add-on when the business is ready.

Do I own the finished site?

Yes. After final payment you own your domain, your Cloudflare hosting account, the customized website files, and your content. Dave keeps the reusable framework code so another developer can pick the project up later if needed.

What does ongoing maintenance cost?

No required monthly contract. Standard hosting is usually free. Small edits go through Dave on an as-needed basis, a prepaid support block, or an optional self-edit add-on — your choice.

How quickly does this launch?

Typically 1–2 weeks after content, domain direction, and deposit are ready. Dave replies within 1 business day to get the first call scheduled.

How does this differ from Wix or Squarespace?

Builders can be great if you have time to wire everything up. A Launch Site is for owners who want one person to scope, write, build, and hand off the result with the accounts in their name and no monthly platform fee on the standard setup.

What happens when you reach out

  • · Dave reads the form personally and replies to set up a short call by phone or video.
  • · The call is about 15 minutes. Dave reviews your Facebook page, Google Business Profile, or current site beforehand so you don't have to walk him through the basics.
  • · Rough notes are fine — you don't need to prepare anything technical or write polished copy.
  • · No obligation, no same-call payment, no upsell. You'll leave knowing whether a simple site is enough, what it would cost, and whether doing nothing for now is the right call.

Messages go to hello@davetheweb.guru. No payment details, passwords, or private account credentials should be sent through this form. If you do not have a domain yet, that is fine; we can choose one together.
